TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANECDOTES DESIGN
Order Confirmation and Availability
All contractual information will be confirmed by email to the address specified by the customer during the purchasing act.
Please email or telephone us (01303 487690 / 07745790848) if you would like to check on availability of any Steven Harkin bag before ordering. All Steven Harkin bags are made at our workshops in Folkestone, Kent, and usually made-to-order within four weeks. We will advise you if your order is out of stock and provide an estimated delivery date.
Proof of Transaction
The records stored in THE MERCHANT’s computer systems under reasonable safety conditions are considered proof of communications, orders and payments made between the parties.
Purchase orders and invoices are stored on a reliable and durable system and can be produced as evidence.
Validity Period of Offer and Prices
Our offers and prices are valid for the day the site is consulted and are subject to change without notice.
We otherwise try to deliver within 10 working days from receipt of your order (subject to availability and a maximum delivery time of 28 days).
As the customer you must inform us of any damage to the product within 48 hours of delivery or of non-delivery after 28 days from placing your order for your claim to be valid. Please contact us by any of the methods listed on our Contact Page.
Delivery charges vary for addresses in UK, Europe, and other countries throughout the world and are detailed on the order page(s). The selection of a reputable international courier or local postal delivery service will be made at our discretion to satisfy each order. Please note that couriers generally are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses. As the customer/recipient/addressee of international deliveries you are responsible for any local import duties and/or tax that may be charged. Contact us by any of the methods listed below if you have any particular concerns or requests in respect of delivery.

Returns and Exchanges
If you have any reason to return your order to us please inform us by telephone (01303 487690 / 07745790848) or email and enclose proof of purchase when you return the goods, which must be adequately packed. If the product is returned within 7 days of receipt of delivery in new, undamaged and unused condition we will offer you a replacement or a suitable alternative or a credit note or a refund.
Return postage is the responsibility of you, the customer, except in the case of a full refund being given where we have supplied you incorrectly or in the case where there is a fault in a product which we cannot remedy to your reasonable satisfaction. This policy does not affect your UK statutory consumer rights.
Right of Use
The use of any trademarks, logos or brands present on the site is strictly forbidden.
No failure of either party to exercise any power given to it in these terms and conditions or to insist upon strict compliance by the other party with its obligations hereunder shall constitute a waiver of either party’s right to demand exact compliance with the terms hereof.
Our emailing list is not made available to anybody, so if you join our emailing list you will not receive emails from any additional companies. If you do not wish to continue receiving occasional email communications from us please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject and we will remove your email address from our mailing list.
To fulfill your order we collect and use your personal data carefully, lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not make your personal data available to other companies. We may use this data to undertake statistical analysis for internal use only and to help improve the service we offer. From time to time we may contact you with information about our products where you have agreed to this. You may take any opportunity to opt out of receiving further information from us by emailing us at email@example.com After processing your payment by credit card we do not retain these details, which is why we ask repeat-order customers to resubmit payment information for each new order on this website.
Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
In form and content, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. All orders placed on THE MERCHANT SITE strictly imply the acceptance of THE MERCHANT’s terms and conditions.
In case of dispute or claim, the customer agrees to seek an amicable solution with THE MERCHANT before proceeding with any legal action. In the event where such a solution cannot be found, any disputes concerning the sale (price, Terms and Conditions, products, etc.) will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
